The SANDAG iCommute Telework Assistance Program is a pilot program for San Diego region employers interested in developing, enhancing, or formalizing their long-term telework or remote work initiatives.

Assistance offered

The Telework Assistance Program provides employers with free, hands-on assistance divided into five modules. The program is customizable based on each organization's needs, goals, status, and key recommendations. 

  • Telework Policy: development and review of telework policy or telework agreements
  • Employee Eligibility: guidance in the determination of eligibility for remote work requests
  • Training: support and tools for managers in areas like communication, performance, and productivity
  • Technology: review of various technologies that support and improve remote team collaboration
  • Evaluation: identification of key performance indicators to determine expansion of telework programs

If your organization is interested in receiving assistance through this pilot program, take the first step and complete an sign-up form. An iCommute team member will reach out within several business days to facilitate a time to assess and survey your remote work environment. Once information is gathered, we'll present the results and jointly determine what tools and training will be most helpful to your organization.
