Wireless Internet Now Aboard California Amtrak Trains

Wireless internet has been the most requested feature for years, and last week - on Cyber Monday, no less - it arrived on three California Amtrak lines. In Southern California that means the 350-mile Pacific Surfliner, the second busiest route in the nation, has some happier riders.  Full story

Three Local Schools Win Walk, Ride, and Roll to School Challenge

Three schools in San Diego have won the countywide Walk, Ride, and Roll to School Campaign Challenge for having the most students walking and biking to school throughout October. The grand prize winner, Chollas-Mead Elementary, will receive $1,000 in classroom supplies. Full story
