Benefits are Available for Companies of Any Size. iCommute assists companies large and small, private and public, in setting up commuter benefit programs. Programs range from encouraging employees to rideshare, use transit, or bike to work, to subsidizing transportation costs.
In the San Diego region there are many organizations and agencies that have model commuter programs and help their employees with their commute.
Exemplary companies in the San Diego region have earned a SANDAG Diamond Award for their ongoing efforts to provide and promote commuter programs. Some have also received national recognition from the Best Workplaces for Commuters alliance formed between the U. S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Transportation. Applying for a Diamond Award or the Best Workplaces for Commuters designation are great ways to distinguish your company as commuter friendly.
