Log for chances to win. Starting January 2012, there will be monthly prize drawings for commuters who use alternative, more sustainable ways of getting to work or school. Anyone who takes transit, carpools, vanpools, rides a motorcycle or scooter, walks, bikes, telecommutes, or has a compressed workweek schedule, and tracks at least eight trips per month is eligible. That’s only four days a month! (Each one-way trip counts.)

Simply log your commute or SchoolPool trips using the iCommute TripTracker tool and you will be automatically entered for chances to win! Create a free iCommute account to get started. Never be Stranded. If you carpool, vanpool, bike or walk to work, ride the COASTER, or a premium bus service at least three times a week, log your trips using TripTracker and you’ll be covered by our Guaranteed Ride Home program. It provides a taxi or rental car up to three times per year so you can get home in an emergency. There is a minimal $3 co-pay when you use the service. Enroll in advance to be eligible.

A Habit That’s Good for You and Our Region. The more you log your trips, the more your savings will add up. Not only will you see what you save, but you’ll help demonstrate that the San Diego region is growing greener over time. That can literally mean more funding for transportation programs that help clear the air and ease congestion on our local highways. And clean air can really be habit forming.
